Quemo (Kimo), c. 1935-

Another member of the Guiquetairi kinship group, Quemo (Kimo) was part of the surprise Waorani attack on Palm Beach. Quemo and his wife Dawa were among the first Waorani converts to Christianity, and he later became an elder in the Waorani church. In 1966, Quemo traveled with Dayuma’s husband Komi and American missionary Rachel Saint to Berlin, Germany to attend the World Congress on Evangelism, where he gave his testimony of spiritual transformation before an international audience.
