- Poster announcing weekly fellowship, Bible study, and prayer in Manila, ca. 1945. After the Allied forces pushed the Japanse Army out of the Phillipines at the end of World War II, Christian soldiers and military chaplains began to establish a series of small Bible studies, prayer groups, and worship meetings in U.S. occupied Manila. Out of these groups emerged the vision to start the Far Eastern Bible Institute and Seminary (now FEBIAS College of Bible) in 1948, and the formation of the Far Eastern Gospel Crusade (now called SEND International) based from the United States.
